Textile Technology
The educational goal of the Textile Technology Program: In today’s world, competition in the textile sector has shifted from cost-based to quality-based production. In order to survive, companies in our country must improve their production quality levels. In the coming years, investments will be made in our textile sector to produce high-quality products rather than standard ones. The aim of this program is to train qualified intermediate staff needed in the fields of Weaving, Spinning, Finishing, and Apparel to meet this demand. The technicians who will work in the sector are expected to be able to use appropriate computer programs, recognize fibers and fabrics, and transform them into finished products using modern technology. They should apply work health and safety rules in their professional environment, follow innovations related to their field, and possess the necessary technical competencies to work as Textile Technicians.
