Fashion Design
The program aims to train fashion designers who possess universal thinking and values, are equipped with contemporary knowledge, aesthetic understanding, and technical skills, and who are creative, innovative, and productive—meeting the needs of the fashion industry at both national and international levels. In this program, students will learn the fundamental principles of garment design through courses such as design principles, art history, basic art education, and garment design. They will gain knowledge about the textile and apparel production process, garment design and product development, textile materials and their properties, primary and auxiliary materials used in garment manufacturing, the use of machines and tools, and computer-aided design programs such as CAD/CAM to design garments digitally. They will also learn how to prepare technical reports and specification sheets as well as how to develop projects. Graduates of this program receive the title of “Fashion Design Technician.”
