Dairy and Dairy Products Technology
The Dairy and Dairy Products Technology Program of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences was opened in the 1995–1996 academic year and continued its educational activities until 2006. It then operated as the “Dairy and Dairy Products Option” under the “Food Technology” program until the 2009–2010 academic year. Starting from the 2011–2012 academic year, course plans compatible with İKMEP began to be implemented in the Dairy and Dairy Products Technology Program. The aim of the Dairy and Dairy Products Technology Program is to train a qualified workforce equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge on milk processing, chemical and microbiological quality control, preservation and marketing of dairy products, food safety, and food legislation. With this expertise, graduates can work in production and quality control laboratories within the dairy industry under the title of Dairy Technician.
