Milk Technology Programme

Milk and Dairy Products Technology Programme of Vocational School of Technical Sciences started education in 1995/1996 academic year and continued to provide education until 2006. Between the academic years 2005/2006 and 2009/2010, it continued to offer education as “ Milk and Dairy Products Option” within the scope of Food Technology Programme. In the Milk and Dairy Products Technology Programme, course plans consistent with İKMEP (The Project of Developing Human Sources by means of Vocational Education) were started to be applied, beginning from 2011/2012 academic year. The objective of the Milk and Dairy Products Technology Programme is to equip students with sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge about processing of milk, chemical and microbiological quality control, protection and marketing of milk products, food safety and related regulations, thus training individuals who, with their extensive theoretical and practical knowledge, are entitled to work as milk technicians in production and quality control laboratories of the milk industry.
