What is Quality, Accreditation and Corporate Accreditation

QUALITY

"The International Bureau for Standardization (ISO) defines quality as the totality of characteristics that reveal the ability of a good or service to meet a specific requirement and the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) defines quality as the sum of characteristics based on the ability of a product or service to meet identified or potential needs".

 

ACCREDITATION

Accreditation refers to the evaluation and external quality assurance process that measures whether a higher education program meets the academic and field-specific standards predetermined by an accreditation body in a particular field. (EPDAD)

 

 

CORPORATE ACCREDITATION

The Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP) is an external evaluation method that enables the evaluation of quality assurance, education-training, research and development, social contribution and management system processes in higher education institutions within the scope of the "planning, implementing, controlling and taking measures" cycle.(YÖKAK)
