Education Commission;
The Education Commission consists of the Vice Dean Responsible for Education, period coordinators, education chief coordinator, elective courses coordinator, and a faculty member representing the Department of Medical Education, and members are appointed by the Dean's Office. It meets at least once a month upon the call of the Dean's Office, chaired by the Dean or Vice Dean. Period student representatives also attend Education Commission meetings. An employee from the unit's student affairs office is assigned as secretary.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate necessary studies on all matters related to medical education conducted in the faculty
- Evaluate undergraduate medical education programs prepared by the Program Evaluation and Development Committee and ensure their implementation
- Discuss feedback and suggestions from the Program Evaluation and Development Committee and report results and recommendations to the Dean's Office
- Evaluate criteria determined in the Regulation for student admission through horizontal transfer and make adaptation studies and propose to the Board of Directors
- Plan adaptation studies for students returning to the faculty under amnesty
- Coordinate period course programs, course plans and academic calendar studies and send them to the Dean's Office by the end of April
- Perform other duties related to education assigned by the Dean's Office
