On November 25, at 10.00 am, we met at the congress center of the university. Several groups of the campus community worked on converting the recyclable wastes into art objects at the lounge. We went to the conference hall to listen to the presentations of several professors and students. They talked about "wastes and our lives," "waste management hierarchy," "wastes in the food chain," "projected waste management at the campus," "the dreams and targets of the Sustainable Campus Student Club" and the statistics of the waste collection event. One of the members of our student club performed her composition on climate change on the piano. Animations on waste reduction followed the presentations. The half-day program ended by visiting the workshops in the lounge to see the art products generated by recycling the collected waste. We hung our wishes to our emotion trees.
