2- APPLICATION CONDITIONS 
 

1. On the condition that they are senior students at high schools or graduates, the applications of the applicants who;

2. ) The following candidates cannot apply as per the scope of international student admission quotas:

1)Turkish citizens who have completed their entire of secondary education (high school) in Türkiye or the TRNC,

2) Those who are citizens of the TRNC / dual citizens whose one nationality is the TRNC (excluding those who have completed entire secondary education (high school) in high schools in the TRNC and have/will have GCE AL results, or those who are citizens of the TRNC and have completed entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country and held TR-YÖS or meet the criteria for student admission as specified in  the application and admission guidelines approved by the Council of Higher Education of higher education institutions)

3) Dual citizens whose first nationality by birth is Turkish, as defined in Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 (excluding those who meet the conditions in clause 4 of clause (a))

4) Turkish citizens or dual citizens whose first citizenship by birth is Turkish as defined in Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901, who are studying at schools within embassies in Türkiye or at foreign high schools located in Türkiye,

5) a) TRNC citizens and those who have renounced Turkish citizenship/blue card holders and those receiving secondary education (high school) or having graduated from any secondary educational institution in Türkiye or TRNC.
b) Foreign nationals who are studying or have graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye (excluding foreign nationals who have completed their high school education in embassy schools / international private educational institutions listed in the MOBIS system, and foreign nationals who have come to our country within the framework of a project implemented by the Ministry of National Education or the Higher Education Council)


       
           ATTENTION;

     1-Since it is essential to be educated in the relevant country during high school education, those who have graduated from the Open Education High School abroad program affiliated with the Ministry of National Education by documenting that they have been in the relevant country for the years corresponding to the high school education will also be able to apply for student admission quotas from abroad.
      2-The decision taken at the General Assembly meeting of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) on November 21, 2024, regarding the continuation of the practice of accepting applications from candidates from Balkan countries who have completed/graduated from high schools in Türkiye to the international student admission quotas of various universities, refers to candidates from Balkan countries who have completed/graduated from high schools in Türkiye.
     In addition to those who are citizens of Balkan countries, those residing in Türkiye;
-Dual nationals who hold Turkish citizenship and also citizenship of one of the Balkan countries,
-Those who lose their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior to renounce their Turkish citizenship,
-Applications for international student quotas from individuals who have lost their Turkish citizenship and can document that they hold a blue card (issued upon request) have been deemed ineligible.

      3-According to the first clause of the application requirements, which states: "Foreign nationals (provided that they have not received/graduated from secondary education institutions in Turkey [excluding those who have completed their high school education in embassy schools/international private educational institutions listed in the MOBIS system, and foreign nationals who have come to our country within the framework of projects conducted by the Ministry of National Education or the Higher Education Council])", candidates who fall into this category and will apply must also upload a document from their schools/official institutions stating that they have completed or will graduate from the aforementioned high school education during the application process.

   In the applications, the applicants' own declarations regarding whether they meet the application requirements will be taken into consideration. Even if those who do not meet the application requirements and make an incorrect statement have started it, they will not have a right to continue their education.
