Faculty Alumna Dr Merve Kaya Delivers Guest Lecture In Professional Practice Course

On 9 October 2026, Dr. Merve Kaya, an alumna of our faculty, was a guest speaker in the Professional Practice course taught by Assist. Prof. Dr. Burcu Erdal. Drawing on more than twenty years of experience in the international agri-food sector, including INRA and the Technical University of Munich, Dr. Kaya addressed the challenges facing agricultural systems, the design thinking approach, and the translation of scientific knowledge into field practice.

In the final part of her talk, she offered students advice on building an international career, with a focus on foreign languages, data analysis, field experience, and professional networking. We thank Dr. Merve Kaya for her valuable contribution.
