The 22nd National Psychology Congress was held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center on October 3, 4, and 5, 2025, with the theme "Changing Society, Transforming Individual."
The congress was organized in collaboration with our university's Psychology Department, the Bursa Branch of the Turkish Psychologists Association, the Bursa Technical University Psychology Department, and the Mudanya University Psychology Department. The organizing committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Leman Pınar Tosun, Head of the Psychology Department, and included research assistants from the Psychology Department, Dr. Funda Turhan, Dr. Deniz Bilger, Fatma Adalet Şahin Kırık, and Çağdaş Kızgut, along with numerous student volunteers.
The scientific program of the National Psychology Congress included 308 oral presentations, 164 poster presentations, 31 panels, and 16 workshops. All these papers were meticulously evaluated by a competent 114-member reviewer panel and included in the program. Additionally, three guest speakers, one of whom was international (
Prof. Stephan Lewandowsky from Bristol University), presented their current work to the congress participants. Over 1,500 participants across Turkey registered for the congress and contributed as viewers or presenters.
