Organized by the Department of Music Education within the Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education at Bursa Uludağ University, the program titled “A New Era in Music Education: The Türkiye Century Education Model” was held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in the Music Education Department Concert Hall.

The program attracted significant interest from academics, pre-service teachers, and students. During the event, the reflections of the Türkiye Century Education Model on the field of music education, the innovations envisaged in the curriculum, and practice-oriented approaches were discussed.

In the presentations delivered within the scope of the program, emphasis was placed on student-centered learning, a values-based education approach, and the importance of interdisciplinary interaction in music education. Additionally, the role of contemporary approaches in teacher training processes and examples of classroom practices were shared.

The event concluded following the participants’ questions and contributions. The program is expected to contribute to future academic studies and practices in the field of music education.
