On October 8, 2025, the Department of Economics at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences organized an orientation event for first-year students within the scope of the “Career Planning” course.

The event was arranged to help students adapt to university life and gain comprehensive information about the department. The program began with a presentation by the Head of the Economics Department, Prof. Dr. Hülya Akay. In her opening speech, she provided information about the academic structure and vision of the Department of Economics and introduced the academic staff. This was followed by information on the curriculum, graduation requirements, and Farabi, double major, and minor programs. The event aimed to support students’ adaptation to university life and strengthen their sense of belonging to the department.
