Graduate Students from Kazakhstan Visit Bursa Uludağ University

Sixty graduate students pursuing their postgraduate studies at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, one of Kazakhstan’s long-established higher education institutions, visited Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ).

As part of the collaboration between the Kazakh university and BUÜ’s Faculty of Education, the students took part in a 15-day visit during which they had the opportunity to closely observe academic and scientific activities in Bursa.

Rector Yılmaz Welcomed the Students

During their stay, the visiting students toured various academic units of BUÜ, particularly the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. They were also informed about the activities carried out at the Central Library and ULUTEK Technopark.

The students later met with BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Salih Çepni, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and representatives from the Academic Coordination Office for International Relations.

Rector Yılmaz emphasized his pleasure in hosting the students at BUÜ. Highlighting the importance of academic staff and graduate student exchange programs, he underlined that establishing sustainable collaborations of this kind would provide significant academic and cultural benefits.

Participated in Classes at BUÜ

The group of 60 Kazakh master’s and doctoral students had the opportunity to attend classes in various disciplines during their visit, allowing them to observe teaching and learning processes firsthand.

The students became acquainted with the academic and social opportunities available to BUÜ students and closely examined research and educational activities conducted across different disciplines. By interacting with BUÜ students, they were also able to enrich their cultural and academic experiences.

In addition, as part of the program, the Faculty of Education assigned an academic advisor to each student according to their respective fields of study.
