Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi Görükle Kampüsü’nün karbon ayak izi hesaplaması, World Resources Institute (WRI) tarafından tanımlanan GHG Protokolü, International Organization for Standardization tarafından belirlenen ISO 14064-1 standardı ve IPCC kılavuzları doğrultusunda hazırlanmıştır.
2021 yılı, en güncel ve eksiksiz verilerin mevcut olduğu yıl olması nedeniyle baz yıl olarak seçilmiştir. Kapsam 1 ve Kapsam 2 emisyonları yıllar boyunca izlenecektir. Bu süreçte kampüs genelinde enerji verimliliğinin artırılması ve yenilenebilir enerji kullanımının toplam içindeki payının yükseltilmesine yönelik çalışmalara odaklanılacaktır.
