The traditional ULUTÖMER iftar was held with the participation of BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz in 2025.

ULUTÖMER Director Prof. Dr. Fatih Demirel said, "We are happy to come together within the scope of the traditional iftar program. We are currently teaching Turkish to guest students from 51 countries. On the occasion of this invitation, we aim to establish mutual interaction with the iftar meeting, which is a part of our culture." BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz stated that there has been an increase in the number of international students at our university in recent years and that around 6000 international students are currently studying at our university and expressed his pleasure to be together with international students on the occasion of iftar. He also invited the students to the “International Students Celebrate Eid” event to be held on the campus on the first day of Eid.
