World Keyboard Championship Certificates of Achievement Presented

23rd World Internet Computer Keyboard Competition Participation and Success Certificates were presented to our competitors in a ceremony held in our Vocational School.

We successfully competed in the World Internet Computer Keyboard Competition Finals, organized for the 23rd time this year by the INTERSTENO International Federation of Information Processing and Communication, affiliated to the United Nations, with a total of 8 competitors from the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Skills program of our Vocational School, with 1 instructor, 1 graduate, and 6 students.

After the competition, the Participation and Success Certificates prepared and delivered to us by INTERSTENO International Federation of Computing and Communication and INTERSTENO Turkish Groups (FEPARDER and FEBİDER) were presented to our competitors by the hands of Prof. Dr. Sinan ÇAVUN, Director of our Vocational School.

On Thursday, June 26, 2025, our Vocational School Director, Prof. Dr. Sinan ÇAVUN, our Vice Director, Lecturer Dr. Arzu ÖDEN ACAR, Head of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Skills Program, Prof. Dr. Sinem SOMUNOĞLU İKİNCİ, and Lecturer Fikret CEYLAN, Vocational School Deputy Secretary Emin YILDIZ, Student Affairs Chief Özlem YAHNİKAPAN, and our administrative staff and Medical Documentation and Secretarial Skills program students attended.

Lecturer Fikret Ceylan opened the program with a short introductory speech and then left the floor to our Director, Prof. Dr. Sinan Çavun. Prof. Dr. Çavun in his speech: "I congratulate the efforts of our Lecturer Fikret Ceylan on this issue, and also your work and success. In the medical secretarial profession, you will always experience the advantages and convenience of typing with the F keyboard without looking at the keyboard with ten fingers in your business life. You will see that we invested the most in the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Skills program in the study we conducted, while eliminating the deficiencies of our Vocational School. For example, by making significant investments in the computer laboratory we are currently in, we have succeeded in making it a state-of-the-art model with the provision of 40 state-of-the-art (all-in-one) computers, infrastructure, internet facilities, tables, and chairs. We are also very happy that you work and succeed in this laboratory in Computer Information, Ten-Finger Keyboard Usage, and Professional Correspondence Practices courses, which are among the important courses of the Medical and Secretarial Skills program. We always support your participation in national and international competitions. We will always continue to support you. We are proud of your 5th, 9th, and 11th places in the Turkish championships and your 29th, 40th, and 54th places in the World Championships. Having these certificates on your CVs will contribute as an added value. I wish you success in your future competitions and studies."

Participation and achievement certificates were then distributed. The students who participated in the competition and our program lecturer received their certificates from our Director. Kaan Talha Karahan and Murat Can Aslan, who were unable to attend the program due to their public sector employment, and Melih Köseler, who had returned home after completing his exams, received their certificates from their fellow program members.

The certificates were distributed to the applause of their classmates and lecturers, and photographs taken after the certificates were handed out captured this special moment.
