Students who earned the right to graduate from the Bursa Uludağ University Vocational School of Health Services received their diplomas at a ceremony held for the occasion. At the ceremony, where 308 students celebrated their graduation, families also witnessed their children’s joy.

The 39th graduation ceremony, held at the Prof. Dr. Mete Cengiz Cultural Center, was attended by BUÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İrfan KIRIŞTIOĞLU, Deputy Coordinator of the Vocational Schools Coordination Office Prof. Dr. Nazmi İZLİ, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services Prof. Dr. Sinan ÇAVUN, faculty members, students, and their families.

The ceremony began with a presentation by Ertan BULUT, a healthcare technician and faculty member of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program. Following the official speeches, Mert DURGUT, a student in the Medical Imaging Techniques Program and valedictorian of the 2025–2026 class, delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates.

Duygu İnanç AKGÜN, valedictorian of our Vocational School’s Medical Laboratory Technology program; Mert DURGUT, valedictorian of the Medical Imaging Technology program; Beyza AKIN, the top student of the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies program; Ayşe ONAT, the top student of the Anesthesia program; and Kübra ÜNAL, the top student of the First Aid and Emergency Care program, were awarded plaques for their top rankings.

In addition, Mert DURGUT, the top student of the semester at our Vocational School; Feride DİNÇER, the second-place student; and Kübra ÜNAL, the third-place student, received their gifts—plates decorated with ceramic inlay—from our Vocational School Director, Prof. Dr. Sinan ÇAVUN, and invited guests. Following this, Mert DURGUT, the top student of the semester, affixed a name plaque to the commemorative log.

The program concluded with the presentation of commemorative certificates to the graduating students by the program’s faculty members, the recitation of the health pledge, and the tossing of caps, following the presentation of gifts to the top-ranking students.
