BLS PRACTICES WERE REALIZED WITH VIRTUAL REALITY (VR) SIMULATION...

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT SKILL ACQUISITION PRACTICES WERE REINFORCED WITH VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATION (VR)

Within the scope of our Vocational School First and Emergency Aid Program “Emergency Patient Care II” course, Basic Life Support (BLS) applications were carried out with the participation of 1st year students on May 26, 2025, at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine Good Medicine Practices and Simulation Center (USİM).

Virtual reality (VR) contributes to the education of students as an innovative method used in the field of simulation. Thanks to the VR technology in USİM, students’ skill practices are supported by modern teaching techniques. In this context, VR technology was utilized to reinforce the application steps of the Basic Life Support skill. With this application, students had the opportunity to improve their effective intervention skills in emergencies.

We would like to thank Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Good Medicine Practices and Simulation Center, for their support.
