Success in TÜBİTAK 3501 Programme from Our University (Asc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Göçenoğlu Sakarya)

We congratulate Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Göçenoğlu Sarıkaya and her project team for their project titled, "Production of Lovastatin from Pleurotus djamor and Investigation of Its Potential Use in Bone Tissue Regeneration: Chemometric Optimization of Fermentation Conditions, Production of Lovastatin-Loaded Nanofibers, and In Vitro Studies," which has been awarded support under the TÜBİTAK 3501 – Career Development Program.

In this project, lovastatin will be produced from Pleurotus djamor under fermentation conditions optimized by chemometric methods. Its potential use in bone tissue regeneration will then be investigated by integrating it into biocompatible composite materials.
