As students and faculty members of the Furniture and Decoration Department at Inegöl Vocational School, we conducted a technical visit to the production facilities of Saloni Furniture, one of the leading brands in the furniture industry.

During this visit, which provided us with the opportunity to observe the theoretical knowledge we have acquired throughout our education at an industrial production scale, we gained invaluable experiences for our professional development.

Upholstery and Foam Technologies: We examined the upholstery processes for soft seating, the different foam densities that determine comfort and ergonomics, and the application techniques firsthand.

Seat Frame Construction: We analyzed the skeletal structures that form the backbone of the furniture, material selections, and strength solutions on the production line.

R&D and Material (Fabric) Management: By touring the R&D center the heart of design and innovation we gained insights into next-generation fabric technologies and product development stages.
