“Tescilden Tabağa Bursa Gastronomisi” Book Introduced at the Festival

At the gala night of the Bursa International Gastronomy Festival, the book “Tescilden Tabağa Bursa Gastronomisi”, authored by Lecturer Fatih Yıldırım, was introduced. The work, which examines Bursa’s rich culinary heritage from an academic perspective, aims to make significant contributions both to Turkish gastronomy and to the academic world.

Emphasizing that gastronomy is not only about food but also about culture, tradition, and identity, the book documents Bursa’s registered local products and culinary heritage. In this respect, it will also serve as a valuable resource for the development of gastronomy tourism. Prepared with the support of universities, professional chambers, and non-governmental organizations, the book offers researchers, academics, and students a comprehensive reference on Bursa’s cuisine. Thus, it aims both to preserve local culinary traditions and to contribute to the academic literature.
