Bursa Uludag University Molecular Cancer Research Laboratory (BUMKAL) continues to achieve significant success in the academic and scientific field with its studies. The study titled “Evaluation of the Effect of Mechanosensitive Ion Channels on Cell Polarity and Prognostic Process in Bladder Tumors” was awarded the “first prize” for oral presentation at the 21st Uludağ Internal Medicine National Winter Congress held at Uludağ Grand Yazıcı Hotel and chaired by Prof. Dr. Yavuz Pehlivan, Head of Internal Medicine Department-Division of Rheumatology.

Prof. Dr. Ferda Arı, Prof. Dr. Burhan Coşkun, Prof. Dr. Berna Aytaç Vuruşkan, Assoc. Dr. Elif Ertürk, Dr. Oğuzhan Akgün and MSc Yaren Yıldız took part in the study conducted at BUMKAL and supported by BUU BAP unit.
