Intercultural Workshops with the University of Wuppertal

On 7 and 8 May 2026, our department hosted an intercultural workshop and professional development program organized by the DAAD in cooperation with two intercultural trainers from the University of Wuppertal, Germany.

The workshops were designed for students in the preparatory classes, students of the Department of German Language Teaching, and their instructors. They focused on topics such as cultural identity, intercultural communication, and intercultural interaction in educational contexts. In addition, participants explored and reflected on intercultural learning activities for teaching German as a Foreign Language (GFL).

The workshops provided students with the opportunity to broaden their international perspectives and gain valuable new insights for both their studies and the teaching of German as a Foreign Language.
