German Teachers’ Day at the ALKEV Schools

On December 6, 2025, German Teachers’ Day was hosted at the ALKEV Schools in Istanbul. As part of the event, Prof. Dr. Anastasia Şenyıldız led a workshop titled “Awakening the Joy of Teaching and Learning: Ideas for Motivating German as a Foreign Language (GFL) Instruction.” Using illustrative examples, the participating GFL teachers were able to try out numerous teaching ideas and evaluate them with regard to their potential implementation in their own classrooms.
