We are happy to share with you today on behalf of the Panel on Planetary Thinking the invitation to the third round of applications for the “Planetary Scholars and Artists in Residence Program”. This innovative four-year fellowship programme based at the Justus Liebig University (JLU) fosters transdisciplinary dialogues between the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, life sciences and the arts. In 2024, two fellowships are awarded from April-June, and two others from September-November to explore PLANETARY TIMES. To contribute to each year’s thematic focus, the Panel of Planetary Thinking seeks individuals who are willing to transgress disciplinary boundaries within and resulting from their advanced, academic and creative endeavours.

Call for Applications 2024: Planetary Times
The Panel on Planetary Thinking at the Justus Liebig University (JLU), Germany, invites applications for the third round of a four-year fellowship program, which explores the manifold relations between societies and the planet. In 2024, two three-month fellowships are awarded April-June and two September-November to individuals/pairs with an advanced academic or artistic record relevant to the theme PLANETARY TIMES. During their fully-funded, three month residency in Giessen, our fellows are expected to conceptualize workshops in a format of their own choosing, which may include a masterclass, an exhibition, or a performative activity.
