In order to attend Uludağ University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Turkish Language and Literature; students must have a high school degree and enough score in university entrance exam.

The education in the department consists of eight terms and 240 ECTS.

In our bachelor degree; there are common must courses, area must courses, area elective courses and non-area elective courses. To achieve a bachelor degree in this programme; a student must complete every course and have a score of 2.00 grade point average. 

Every student must complete his class enrolment at the beginning of each term and attend the courses in a ratio of 70%. Students are tested with a midterm and a final exam. Midterm has a weight of 40% and final has a 60% in end of the year degree. All tests are rated in 100 points maximum system. Students must have the score of 50 points or higher in the finals. AA, BA, BB, CB and CC are successful grades. DC and DD are conditional successful grades; the students must have at least 2.00 grade point average for being deemed successful with these grades. The student can attend make-up examination at the end of the terms as long as he did not fail due to absence. Make up examinations takes effect instead of final exam.

After the successfully completion of the programme, a bachelor degree in the field of Turkish language and literature is earned.
