In the catalog article of the exhibition, Dr. Instructor. Member Meryem UZUNOĞLU describes the exhibition as follows: “Sezin Türk Kaya's exhibition titled "Human States of Houses" includes prints as well as molds and various materials and materials, in which the artist shares the production process. The artist depicts dilapidated houses in ruins, sometimes viewed from a distance and sometimes in close proximity. Sometimes an open door or a lacy curtain, sometimes flowers lined up in front of the window, sometimes laundry flying on the rope they are attached to, indicate that life still continues in these makeshift houses. The gloomy weather is dissipating and the smell of the food cooking on the stove spreads throughout the place, along with the joyful sounds of children playing in the backyard. In Sezin Türk Kaya's works created with the colography technique, stains, lines and texture stand out as the most basic elements that determine the original form language. In his paintings, the soft spots that form the form are enriched with textural flavors, while the vibrating lines that travel across the entire surface add great dynamism to the composition. While the traces that the artist engraves on the surface with texture and line reveal everything that these deserted houses bring from the past, they turn into the tools of a silent story that we are all familiar with.
