Department of Political Science and Public Administration
Department of Political Science and Public Administration offers study programs at undergraduate and graduate levels since 1982. The main purpose of the Department is to provide those individuals who are to take charge in different managerial positions, especially in the field of public administration, with the theoretical knowledge required by the modern administrative perspective as well as the ability to reflect it into practice.
Mission of the Department
The mission of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration is to train individuals equipped with excellent management and leadership skills, to engage in research activities that would contribute to academic advancement and to share this research-based knowledge with related public and private sectors.
Vision of the Department
The vision of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration is to become a leading department which trains individuals equipped with knowledge and skills that are compatible with the requirements of the modern public administration sector, who contribute to the development of the sector and who internalize the universal standarts of the professional ethics.
