HEALTH SERVICES
 

Health Center, which deals with the health problems of students and personnel, is a sub-unit of Medical, Cultural and Sports Affairs Office.

The students are required to pay a small amount of money for diagnosis and medical treatment, and prescriptions can be purchased from the pharmacies that are working in cooperation with the university. Those who seem to need a detailed examination is sent to the Faculty of Medicine Training and Research Hospital.

Besides the usual polyclinic services, Mediko Health Center offers a wide range of other medical services such as a dental treatment, psychological advice center, radiological examinations and blood and urine analyses. Also, once in a week, neourologists, dermatologists, gynecologists , opticians and specialists on ear-nose-throat diseases deal with students' health problems.
