L'OREAL - UNESCO NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS SUPPORT FOR YOUNG SCIENCE WOMEN 2021 ANNOUNCEMENT PUBLISHED

One of the best practices in UNESCO's Natural Sciences Sector is the Support Program for Young Scientists Women, created in cooperation between UNESCO and L'Oreal Foundation.

UNESCO and L'Oreal international partnership "For Women In Science" program is an extension of the "Young Women in Science National Fellowship Program" has been successfully implemented in Turkey since 2003. Turkey National Commission for UNESCO and L'Oreal to promote scientific study of women with the cooperation of our country with the aim of science in 2021 will be awarded scholarships.

Within the scope of the scholarship, Life Sciences (Bioinformatics, including Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Health Informatics, Neurobiology, Biomedical and Artificial Intelligence research in Biology) and Physical Sciences (Basic Sciences (life sciences) and Engineering, Granular Materials, Polymers, Glasses and Ceramics, Composites, Biomaterials, Nanomaterials, Specially Designed Surfaces, Photonic Crystals, Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Physics) on 31 December (2020) Within the framework of this program, two young women researchers who are under the age of 40 will be supported with one-year scholarships worth 120,000 Turkish Liras.
