In order to coordinate the Bologna process studies within the body of Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) International Academic Relations Coordinatorship, Faculty of Education Faculty of Science Education Department faculty member Assoc. Dr. Nermin Bulunuz has been appointed as the coordinator.

BUÜ Rectorate accelerated the Bologna studies within the framework of its determination to reach a better level in the internationalization target emphasized in YÖK audit reports. With this goal, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İrfan Kırıştıoğlu, UAI Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Bülent Şenay, Bologna Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Nermin Bulunuz, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Dr.  Ozan Aşıkand  UAİK staff participated in the meeeting where te issue of effective execution of Bologna Process studies was discussed

At the meeting, the work to be done to rapidly to utilize the Bologna Information Package, which is considered to be 97% of BUU completed in the YÖKAK report, to a more effective and student-friendly process in terms of scientific and educational content and quality were evaluated.

ABOUT THE BOLOGNA PROCESS

Turkey is a member of the Bologna process in 2001, "European Higher Education Area" was launched in 1999 to create an internationalization of the academy is working. Internationalization in higher education is a process that aims to establish effective mechanisms to increase quality and competitiveness in education and research, to create easily understandable and comparable higher education diplomas and / or degrees, and international education with an internationally recognized diploma. Bologna Coordination Coordinatorship was established for the first time in 2002 in order to carry out the Bologna process activities effectively.

Since those years, important steps have been taken in internationalization processes, concurrent quality management systems studies and Bologna process have been continued with determination. With the acceptance of the application made for the Diploma Supplement Label in 2006, the graduates of Bursa Uludağ University started to receive a diploma supplement.
